With the unveiling of our newly updated website only a few weeks away, we would like your opinion on what we can do to make the new store the best it can be. Ann and I are committed to keeping the new website stocked with the things you want most, so we're eager to hear from you!

HERE. The unveiling of the site also coincides with the one year anniversary of Ann and I being in business together as Blue Pumpkin Designs. It's been a solid year and we've learned not only a lot about what it takes to survive as a business in the ever-changing world of handmade boutique, but also about what it truly really means to "collaborate" and work together to succeed. The best thing is we've come out of this year still the greatest of friends! Hahaha. And cool fact/ not only do we share a business "birthday", Ann and I share a real birthday of January 29th /cool fact.

We are looking for 5 children to be the faces of our upcoming 2010 Fall/Winter clothing/hair accessory collaborations. You can submit two photos of your child to bluepumpkindesigns@gmail.com. The shots do not need to be professionally done. Just one full body shot and one close-up, upper body shot. We would be prefer the pictures be untouched, no Photoshop. No previous modeling experience is necessary, but if your child has modeled before, or if you have photography experience, we would like to know. Finalists in each category will be selected by BPD and we will have our Facebook fans vote to pick the winner during our Birthday/Grand Opening Celebration week. Four winners will receive a clothing outfit and hair accessories to model for us, one winner will receive 3-5 hair accessories. We ask for 10 modeled photo shots per clothing/accessory piece to choose from to use in our product listings, store promotions and ads. It's possible that we can ask for reshoots, if necessary. Once the photos have been accepted, your child will keep the goods.
Be sure to get your photos in no later than September 10th, 2010 to be considered. We look forward to receiving your submissions!
